Brenda Walton

It was great catching up with my dear friend Brenda and her husband, Doug. She has a great new range of paper out with K & Co (who are now part of the EK Success Brands).

Here are some samples made with her new papers above, plus a 'Make and Take' I did at the K & Co booth. They had each day a schedule of when they were going to be doing 'Make and Takes' and there was always a line, so arriving there a little early was often needed in order to get a seat.

Tim Holtz

So here I am with THE Tim Holtz! His class was fabulous ... all about using alcohol inks. Tim is a great teacher with a lively sense of humour, and it is extremely hard to book in for a class with him, I ended up on a waiting list, so when someone couldn't make it, I got in there quick. {I know some of you are going to be really envious of me now, LOL). Tim is holding my creation using three colours. Tim's creation is in the picture below, where he used multi colours. It's gorgeous.

Here are some of the steps we did or preparation of our 'ghosts' or acrylic shapes.

Thanks Tim for letting us play.

Angela Cartwright

I have just spent some time holidaying in the US and caught up on some of my art friends. Angela is a mixed media artist and here she is signing her latest book for me: In this Garden:a mixed media narrative.
