Exploding Box

Tracy one of my talented tutors at Scrapbookers' Delight has kept me quite amused with her exploding box. Classes are being run at this at Scrapbookers' Delight, 7 Triton Drive, Albany, Auckland. Check www.scrapbookersdelight.blogspot.com.

Altered iMac with Decopatch

Well, here it is the ultimate altered art alchemist work, my own little iMac laptop has had a severe makeover!

I didn't like the white colour, it always looked dirty and I got sick of cleaning it, so when I had seen what you could do with Decopatch tissues, decopodge and varnish on things like mobile phones, I decided I would try it on my Mac.

I'm probably the first brave person in the world to venture out in decorating their computer this way – that is using podge. I must admit I was a bit worried that the glue may slip into the motherboard, but I carefully applied every piece of ripped tissue. And girls, it is still going fine. At least it looks like it belongs to an artist now, check it out:

Stampington Stamps

I feel like I haven't posted for awhile, because we have been so busy with our store's Stampington Promo Product Launch, over here at Scrapbookers' Delight.

Stampington is the company who produce many magazines such as Altered Couture, Bella Amoire, Legacy, and my favourite Somerset Studio. They also have some jewellery, which I am sporting here on my top (I'm going to try my hand at this, that is soldering work shortly, stay tuned).

Check out some of their stamps I have just bought to add to my collection:
